Front End Editor is an extension for Joomla! that enhances the front-end editing capability of Joomla! It started out as a Google Summer of Code 2009 project.

It enables the user (once logged in) to do the following at the frontend:

1. Edit article, menu-item, module and page titles in place.
2. Edit articles in a modal popup.
3. Edit module parameters in a modal popup.
4. Drag & drop positioning and reordering of modules.

This extension has been released under the GPL License.
